“Ato Forson Vows to Fight Greed, Impunity, and Disregard for the Rule of Law”

Ato Forson, the Minority Leader in Parliament, has reaffirmed his commitment to upholding good governance, pledging to fight against greed, impunity, and the disregard for the rule of law. Speaking to party supporters and the general public, Forson emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) remains steadfast in its dedication to principles of accountability, fairness, and justice.

Forson condemned what he described as a growing culture of impunity under the current government, where laws are selectively applied, and corruption is left unchecked. He stressed that such practices erode public trust and undermine the country’s democratic foundations. According to him, Ghana deserves leadership that prioritizes the needs of the people over personal gain and political favoritism.

He further stated that the NDC, under his leadership in Parliament, will continue to hold the government accountable while advocating for policies that promote transparency and the rule of law. Forson urged citizens to reject leaders and systems that encourage greed and disrespect for governance norms, stating that Ghana’s development depends on integrity and ethical leadership.

Forson also called on NDC supporters to stay united and vigilant as the party prepares to contest future elections. He assured Ghanaians that the NDC stands ready to restore dignity, fairness, and respect for the rule of law in governance.

In closing, he pledged that the NDC will continue to be a voice for the people, standing firmly against corruption, injustice, and impunity for the betterment of Ghana’s democracy.
