Akufo-Addo tried to frustrate the 24 hour economy park – NDC National Youth Organiser

George Opare Addo, the National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), accused President Akufo-Addo of deliberately trying to undermine the party’s 24-Hour Economy Park initiative. The event was initially scheduled for Accra Mall Park but was abruptly relocated to Legon City Mall after the Municipal Assembly informed organizers that the president would hold a program at the original venue. Opare Addo described this last-minute change as a calculated effort to frustrate their plans.

He expressed disbelief that a presidential event would be scheduled at Accra Mall Park, claiming it was an unusual occurrence. Despite these challenges, the NDC launched the 24-Hour Economy Park at the new location, featuring over 30 vendors and various activities aimed at promoting economic initiatives.

Opare Addo urged the youth to vote against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that the future of Ghana’s young people depended on rejecting ineffective governance and supporting policies that foster economic growth and job creation.
