The former Deputy Chief of Staff for the John Mahama administration, Chief Kenneth Wujangi and his team took their final campaign tour to 10 “ophan constituencies” in the Northern Regions.

Speaking to 1up24, Chief Wujangi stressed on why he targeted those areas. ” Most of these constituencies have new PCs and therefore need our support to be able to win their seats from the NPP. Aside all other factors, they need the courage and assurance of the NDC’s support,” he said.
He added that with his experience in politics, it was a good idea to be there on his own.

The team emphasized on the message contained in the party’s manifesto with major focus on the economy, peace and security in the Northern regions, women empowerment with the Women’s bank, job creation through the 24Hr economy and fight against introduction of LGBTQ+ among others.

The constituencies includes Bimbilla Constituency represented by Hon. Rockson Kwabena Mamboah, Zabzugu Constituency represented by Hon. Alhassan Umar Abaako, Mion Constituency represented by Hon. William Ayo Ntebi, Mion Constituency represented by Hon. Alhaji Misbahu, Karaga Constituency represented by Hon. Daadawa, Nalerigu Constituency represented by Hon. Alhaji Baba, Chereponi Constituency represented by Hon. Seidu Alajor, Saboba Constituency among others.
The team was accompanied by various Constituency executives and the Konkomba National Caucus meeting chiefs and various ethic groups, youth and women groupings across the selected constituencies.
