Former Deputy Chief of Staff Commends NDC for Electoral Success

The former Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Ken Wunjangi has expressed pride in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its impressive efforts in securing significant results in the recent elections. Reflecting on the party’s performance, he remarked, “The NDC really worked hard before, during, and after the election to achieve these results.”

When asked about the NDC holding nearly two-thirds of the parliamentary seats and its implications for Ghana’s democracy, he dismissed concerns of potential misuse of power. He emphasized that while some might assume the NDC could exploit this advantage, the party remains committed to the nation’s progress. Comparing the NDC to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), he assured Ghanaians that the NDC would not adopt the questionable practices that he believes the NPP might have employed in a similar situation.

As a former Deputy Chief of Staff, he was also questioned about his role in ensuring accountability and good governance under the new administration. In response, he affirmed his readiness to contribute wherever he is called upon by the President. “I am ready to serve in any capacity and promise to deliver diligently as expected of me,” he stated, pledging his commitment to upholding the principles of democracy and service to the nation.

His remarks underscore a spirit of dedication and optimism within the NDC as they navigate their expanded role in shaping Ghana’s political landscape.
